01 / The Challenge

The Challenge

When the White House announced its first conference on hunger, nutrition, and health in over 50 years, ODPHP and CommunicateHealth had just days to stand up a national presence. The moment demanded a credible, accessible platform to engage diverse stakeholders, fast.

02 / The Shift

The Shift We Made

The team launched a fully integrated section of health.gov within five business days, featuring livestream access, strategy engagement tools, and supporting materials to help the public shape the national plan.

03 / The Work

How We Did It

As Creative Director, I led visual concepting and full design execution of the campaign’s flagship engagement toolkit, including layout, graphics, and print-ready formats, all aligned with federal brand and accessibility standards:

  • Designed a branded suite of downloadable materials, including a partner guide, listening session kit, and feedback surveys
  • Produced materials that were inclusive, easy to use, and aligned with federal accessibility and plain language standards
  • Collaborated with web and content teams to align visual strategy across social assets and promotional deliverables

05 / Why It Mattered

Why It Mattered

This wasn’t just a rapid response, it was a design moment with real policy impact. The toolkit gave communities the tools to participate, weigh in, and be heard.

The story is already there.
Let’s tell it well.
