01 / The Challenge

The Challenge

Mr. Sid has been part of the Boston-area menswear landscape since 1967, building its reputation around luxury clothing, tailoring, personal service, and a willingness to treat fashion marketing with some personality.

A seasonal lookbook needed to live up to that tradition. It had to showcase the clothing, but it also needed to capture the personal, curated quality of shopping at Mr. Sid.

02 / The Shift

The Shift We Made

We approached the piece as a small fashion editorial rather than a product catalog. The photography set the tone. Typography, color, and supporting information were kept quiet enough to frame the clothing without competing with it.

03 / The Work

How We Did It

  • Built the lookbook around large lifestyle and fashion photography
  • Used restrained typography and generous spacing throughout
  • Varied the pacing between portraits, environmental images, and product-focused spreads
  • Kept supporting copy and merchandise information subordinate to the visual story
  • Created a presentation that felt polished without losing the relaxed character of the seasonal collection

04 / What Happened Next

What Happened Next

Large photography gave the seasonal collection an editorial presence
A mix of portraits, environments, and product spreads created visual rhythm
Restrained typography kept attention on the clothing and styling

05 / Why It Mattered

Why It Mattered

The final piece felt like an extension of the store rather than a stack of product pages. It presented the clothes in the context Mr. Sid is known for: taste, styling, and a point of view.

The story is already there.
Let’s tell it well.
